About Us

Prairie Lily Knitting and Weaving was established in 1975 and has remained in its original location in the Canadiana Business Centre located in the North Industrial area of Saskatoon. It has always been locally owned and a staple in the crafting community. In the beginning, we offered: knitting, crochet, knitting machines and weaving. In 2001, the store expanded and acquired a needlework section and at that time changed the name to Prairie Lily Knitting & Needlework Shop.

 I purchased this business in August of 2008.  I have passionately loved knitting for many years and feel very blessed to share my passion with others. I’m always willing to lend a helping hand to help choose your next project or just pop in to have a short visit. I love what I do and I’m so happy that you’ve come to check out Prairie Lily to see what we have. I’m sure there’s something here for you!
